I trust everyone is enjoying the summer months with friends and family! I enjoyed speaking with many constituents during the Stampede and hearing your feedback on government priorities. As we resume our legislative session in the legislature this fall, my discussions with constituents will, as always, help me greatly in supporting the issues that are important to Calgary-North Hill and the prosperity of our province overall.

Following the various roundtable sessions I have had between myself, constituents and ministers, including the Cabinet Tour in May, one of the focal points has been around sustainable urban development and urban revitalization strategy for older inner-city communities like Calgary-North Hill. Such communities have unique challenges and opportunities, and I intend to promote a better dialogue between the various levels of government and a long-term strategy for urban revitalization and development in older inner-city communities. Soon, I will be posting a discussion paper on the various challenges and opportunities faced by Calgary-North Hill and other similar communities and I look forward to your comments and further discussion on the issue, as I will be bringing it forward in the Legislature this fall, in addition to other issues I have discussed prior.
